“ Friendly staff there, very quick service, very reasonably priced for what it is and delicious. A huge plate of beef shawarma with really tasty rice, Lebanese salad, hummus and pita was very reasonably priced and I was able to eat it over two meals. I also ordered a Lebanese salad to go with it, which was delicious, full of fresh herbs and a nice dressing, but considering that the shawarma came with a salad, it was too much. Considering how overpriced the Israeli places are in the neighborhood that sell basically the same kind of food, this place is going to get my business from now on. ”
“ Monas was a great find and Im a picky eater. I saw my peoples Armenian food in the area and came to what I thought was Sasoon Restaurant, but turned out it was replaced with Monas. Lebanese, Armenian, same thing, so I decided to give it a go. Its rare that I find a place that serves delicious hummus and beef kabobs. Thank you for being one of very few on my list. The place had a few groups of customers dining in during lunch hour and it seemed to be run by an elder gentleman and a hostwaitress. The gentleman greeted me and took my togo order. Although the beef kabob was above average cost, it was also above average quality and taste. The kabob was marinated and cooked to perfection. The salad was dressed exactly how I like it. And the hummus was as good as it gets. My only comment to ownership is please provide your take out customers more durable utensils. I absolutely despise getting cheap utensils that cant even stay steady by a grain of rice. Im sure nobody enjoys having utensils like that. ”
“ The beef shawarma at Monas kitchen was superb. Probably the best in LA and the closest to authentic Lebanese style shawarma. The meat had crisp but not overcooked and the tahini sauce was great. The wrap hd the proper ingredients for a successful explosion of flavors in your mouth. We want to come back and have a full feast with more than just Shawarma. The best of all is that George who is the owner I think was extremely nice and friendly and cane outside to ask me how the sandwich was and if I needed anything else. Highly recommend this place for Lebanese cuisine. ”
“ My best friends and I just finished eating here...wow! Amazing food, great background music, and friendly service with a smile Well be back again soon!!! ”
“ We stopped here on our way home from a weekend trip. We dont have anything Lebanese near home and were so excited to see Monas on the map. It did NOT disappoint. The owner was friendly, kind and so generous. The food was fantastic I wish they were closer so we could go all the time! ”
“ O MY GOD... THIS PLACE. A friend and I literally were just looking for a place to finish our conversation the Peets coffee was closing super early, and the only other place in the same mini mall was a softserve ice cream joint! So we walked to the sidewalk to peek for open restaurants, saw the name It sounds so downhome and cozy!, and dashed across the street! O MAN am I ever glad that we did!! The place was completely empty when we first walked in midweek, around 630 pm but orders were coming thru their Grub Hub alert and calls coming in for pick up. We grabbed a table, and the man at the counter said to just take a seat, hed bring us everything. Without even yet knowing what kind of food it was, we were served up a super yum appetizer of radishes, olives and pickles!! We were kind of shocked placed dont even offer BREAD anymore... and here we were getting this little gourmet treat before even looking at menus! We ordered a bunch of appetizers, including the Hummus plate HEAVENTLY, rich, creamy, dreamy, and of course came with light, crispy lebanese pita, the cheese dumplings O MY GOSH SOOOOO GOOD crispy, rich, but very mellow so good! and the deepfried cauliflower which I have to admit I wasnt excited about at first my friend ordered it saying how good this can be and MAN was she RIGHT!!! Everything was a homerun. We had a couple Perriers, and it was just the must awesome surprise to have accidentally stumbled on such a find!! They have whole full rich dinners and lunches, and I cannot WAIT to go back for those!! If you live ANYWHERE NEAR or happen to be in the SFV YOU GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE. Insanely good! MUST GO. Thank you. ”
“ Ordered for pick up. Food was delicious. We ordered the gyro pitas and it seems like they take pride in their ingredients and recipes. Pitas seemed small but they were filling and very flavorful. Meat was perfectly seasoned and the sauce was perfect. Perfect road meal. Came with a side of pickles and banana peppers. considering inflation. Would definitely come back ”
“ This place is nice to dine in with your kids as the atmosphere is fantastic, besides the fresh, yummy, healthy food. Try it, and you will like it. It is clean and good service. I recommend for everyone who wants to enjoy food and place . By the way, it represents sweet home food for everyone, especially Lebanese ”
